Editorial of the Special Issue on the Conference of Reconstruction and Development Requirements 2023

Abstract

The foundation of building advanced societies lies in achieving comprehensive development through infrastructure improvement, economic capacity building, and the development of human capital, all supported by scientific research and its methodologies. Libya has endured years of instability, wars, and violence that caused severe damage to infrastructure and widespread destruction in many cities, which has hindered the development process for a long time. In response, this scientific conference was convened under the theme: "Reconstruction and Development Requirements", organized by the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research in Benghazi, bringing together experts and scholars to propose practical solutions through scientific programs and strategic visions that can enhance reconstruction efforts and benefit from both domestic and international experiences. Through its research and scientific studies, the conference aims to support comprehensive development, advance legislation related to reconstruction and investment, and open new horizons for creating promising solutions that help overcome current challenges and pave the way for a brighter future for the nation and society.
