Abstract

This book provides a comprehensive documentary study of the life of the Libyan scholar Muhammad Abdulghani Al-Bajqni, who migrated from Tripoli to Damascus and became one of its prominent scholars, then returned to Libya without receiving due recognition. The book traces his upbringing, education, scientific and educational role in Damascus, his return to Tripoli, and his intellectual legacy. The research relies on rare documents and diverse sources including manuscripts and old newspapers, making it a valuable reference for the history of Libyan migrant scholars and their impact in the Islamic East.
