Issue Correspondence: Gender-Based Discrimination and Its Impact on Women's Participation in Development

Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of gender-based discrimination and its impact on women’s participation in the development process. The study discusses the basic concepts of gender, gender roles, and international efforts to combat discrimination, as well as the challenges facing Arab women in effectively participating in social and economic development.
