Abstract

  • The mountains and caves of the Sahara Desert are filled with many murals left by prehistoric people, which represent an important heritage that must be preserved, especially in this period that witnesses the obliteration of many important monuments. During that period, the artist dealt with many topics that he expressed through drawing and engraving. He also dealt in his drawings with all the animals that lived in his surroundings, and used the colors that nature has to offer. His artistic methods also varied, leaving us with a legacy that bears witness to the cultures that have passed through the region since Circa prehistoric times. These murals contain many aesthetic values that are embodied in their styles, themes, diversity, and the secrets they still keep
