Editorial of the First Issue of 2018

Abstract

In this issue, we present to our esteemed readers a diverse range of thoughtful analyses and studies covering various issues of culture, intellect, and knowledge—spanning the sciences, sociology, and literature. We explore cultural concepts that serve life and address contemporary reality, including the modes of behavior and thought that shape the modern human experience. This reality is defined by a complex array of desires, demands, and concepts—all requiring the kind of effort and dedication that aligns with the lived experience of novelty, modernity, and constant transformation. Contemporary life has evolved far beyond its earlier conceptualizations, and understanding it today requires a perspective distinct from the past; indeed, the very nature of its various facets—both positive and negative—has shifted significantly from their previous contexts. All of this is driven by the explosion of knowledge humanity has achieved through technology, discovery, invention, theoretical inquiry, and practical application. In this spirit, we invite our esteemed readers to share their own studies, cultural insights, and research with us.
